The team at Evening Land Vineyards is made up of a diverse group of people. We come from different ethnicities and backgrounds, yet we are all united by a common thirst for wine, its place on the table, and its power to bring us back to priceless moments shared amongst friends and family.
Each member of our team brings a unique and valuable perspective to what we do. Our individual experiences have brought us all together to work towards one common goal: create delicious wine and share it with those who love it just as much as we do.
Raj Parr (He/Him)
Raj Parr is a James Beard award-winning author, wine professional, and globally celebrated sommelier.
After professionally training as a chef in Calcutta, India, Raj headed to the United States and graduated from the Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park, where he ultimately discovered his passion for wine.
Rajat Parr and Sashi Moorman stand at the vanguard of New World wine. Together, they steward the historic Seven Springs Vineyard into its fourth decade.
SASHI MOORMAN (He/Him)
With a limitless passion for viticulture and winemaking, Sashi Moorman has earned a reputation as one of the New World’s brightest and most compelling winemakers.
As is the case for many, Sashi’s deep passion for food brought him into the world of wine. Post-college studies, Sashi cooked professionally in Washington D.C. and New York, though a newfound interest in wine pushed him to Ojai, California, where he worked for five years under the tutelage of celebrated winemaker Adam Tolmach at The Ojai Vineyard.
Each team member brings a different gift to our work. Some have worked in construction, others have studied Viticulture. We are unified by a shared, healthy obsession — pursuing the art of making wine.
