White Wine

Our Seven Springs Chardonnay comes from a unique section in the south block of our estate vineyard. This high elevation block has excellent soil drainage and exposure to the cooling influence of the Van Duzer Corridor.

Evening Land’s 2017 Blanc de Noirs begins with Pinot Noir grapes grown in the picturesque and dramatic la Forêt vineyard at the summit of Seven Springs; is energetic and focused, with bright-fruited aromas and notes of Alpine berries and botanicals.

Passion fruit curd, Fragola Fabbri and river stones whoosh from the glass.

Classic notes of struck match, lemon zest and Fuji apple coalesce with hints of baking spice and lees that widen in the mouth.

The wine is elegance. Ripe tree fruit, white flowers, roasted hazelnut and flint are just the entry to a cuvée of volume and delicacy, concentration and well-integrated oak in a svelte frame.

While grown in a cooler, more shaded part of the estate, this Chenin Blanc is affable and warm.
