For us, Chardonnay represents the very bright future of Oregon fine wine. Evening Land is fortunate to own and farm a vineyard that Decanter magazine has dubbed a “touchstone for Oregon Chardonnay” and we carry forward a rich tradition of farming and crafting three site-specific Chardonnays from our Seven Springs Estate Vineyard.
Wine Spectator’s Tim Fish recently reviewed all three of our 2019 vintage Chardonnays and we are pleased to share his scintillating remarks with you.
Summum Chardonnay - “Shows dimension and presence, with elegantly multilayered flavors of Meyer lemon, apple skin, yeasty lees and crushed stone that gather richness and steely opulence on the lingering finish.” - 95 points, Wine Spectator
La Source Chardonnay - “A wine of depth and presence, this Chardonnay offers an array of intriguing flavors, from apple and stony mineral to lemon verbena and blanched almond. Takes on richness toward the steely finish.” - 94 points, Wine Spectator
Seven Springs Chardonnay - “A Chardonnay that's all about structure and minerality, with notes of apple, apricot and spice that build richness on the savory finish.” - 93 points, Wine Spectator
