2022 Summum Pinot Noir
96 points, Wine Spectator
Summum is a truly singular Pinot Noir from the lowest-yielding vines in the La Source parcel. The intensity is immediate – plush raspberry and fresh rose petal with porcini mushroom and smoked spice, touching on so many primary and secondary aromas profligate in Pinot Noir. This cuvée is all about concentration of fruit and judicious oak, and there’s enough structure to carry the two in a confident performance, the subtleties of which deserve to be worked out again and again.
