Chris split his time growing up between two wonderful, yet very different, places: rural Montana, where he graduated with a "big" class of twenty-four, and San Antonio, Texas. While experiencing the extremes of frigid winters and hot summers, Chris developed an affinity for Montana, and ultimately chose to study political science and philosophy at Montana State. Chris is fond of attributing his love for hospitality to the effect of studying philosophy. Life unfolded, one thing led to another, and Chris found himself chasing a growing curiosity in wine all the way to Aspen, CO in 2017, where he began working in hospitality at The Little Nell. Chris has since continued to pursue roles in restaurants and tasting rooms across San Francisco and Napa, CA. Chris now calls Oregon home, tries to do good in all spheres of his life, and plans to keep pursuing that curiosity in wine.
