2022 Seven Springs Chenin Blanc

In 2015, it seemed to us that a portion of Pinot Noir shaded by dense forest could do more as a white grape variety. We have been thrilled with the results. This wine glints with the sheen of Chenin Blanc, both in a slight spritz in the glass and in lightning rod aromas of Meyer lemon, Granny Smith apple, beeswax and pink jasmine. The grape’s natural acidity shines — this wine is held back to soften it a bit — but there’s also a warm, round touch to the palate that wraps up in a snappy finish.
