2019 La Source Pinot Noir Magnum

La Source Pinot Noir is the foundation to all that we do here at Evening Land Vineyards. Inspired by the great wines of Burgundy, vines destined for our La Source Pinot Noir are planted to Dijon clones and are rooted in shallow, rocky soils. 

Upon first taste, it’s evident that 2019 was a cool vintage – earthy notes of crisp red fruit, damp soil, violets, and button mushroom give way to a lively and lingering finish, marked by prominent-yet-approachable tannins. It’s no surprise that forward-thinking Burgundy lovers (and Burgundians themselves) took notice of Oregon’s potential for exceptional Pinot Noir just a few decades back.
